The Council’s re-appraisal of the Kings Gap Conservation Area has made no tangible progress. The lead officer (Kate Ellison) moved from her position as Senior Conservation Officer. Since then, there has been much down-sizing and re-organization of Council departments and such matters do not seem to be near the top of any priority list! It remains a Council responsibility to undertake this re-appraisal and to develop management plans for both Hoylake CAs but might be the sort of project that the volunteers in the Association could help to progress.
